DE-950 - The RFID Modbus RTU Solution for Industrial Applications
The DE-950 is the right RFID device for industrial RFID applications with Modbus RTU protocol.
Classical applications are:

In the field of electromobility, the DE-950 RFID reader is often used to enable charging at electric filling stations. Here, the user group of the charging station can be precisely defined to prevent unauthorized access. This is particularly relevant for public or semi-public charging points. At the same time a user identification can take place, e.g. to be able to charge the charging time individually per user. In addition to the release and billing of charging processes, data can also be collected in this way in order to provide customers with consumption and sales statistics at a later date. In this way you increase the overview and transparency for your customers as to how much electricity was actually filled up at the charging station.
The charging process can be easily activated contactlessly using RFID or NFC technology. To do this, simply hold a card or a key fob in front of the device. The reading distance is about 1-4 cm, depending on the type of card or transponder used. We will be happy to advise you individually.
Matching the DE-950 RFID reader we also offer the right RFID or NFC cards or RFID or NFC keyfobs for your application. In addition to different security and encryption levels, the cards and keyfobs can also be individually printed and designed, e.g. with your own logo.
Brand new are our LED cards. They have a built-in LED and are powered by the DE-950 using NFC technology, without the need for a separate battery or power source.
By holding the LED card in front of the reader, not only the charging process is started, but the LED of the card starts to glow due to the power of the DE-950 reader. This also provides additional visual feedback to the customer that their card is within reading range of the charging station and that communication between card and charging station is working. Embedded in your design, this creates a striking recognition value.
